    Blue Jays (5-4) @ White Sox (5-4) 4/14 - 4/16 [AJ Burnett's 1st start]

i got a hang over from last night so bear with me

    Friday - 8:35pm EST / RSN
Scott Downs, LHP (0-0, 5.40 ERA) vs Javier Vazquez, RHP (0-0, 2.57 ERA)

Downs, who has never faced the White Sox, will resume his role as a long reliever when Burnett and Halladay are both back in the rotation.

Vazquez opens the White Sox nine-game homestand by facing the Blue Jays, carrying a 2-3 lifetime record and 5.40 earned run average against Toronto into the contest. Vazquez found success Saturday by changing speeds and attacking the strike zone.
    Saturday - 2:05pm EST / RSN
AJ Burnett, RHP (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs Mark Buehrle, LHP (1-0, 2.25 ERA)

Toronto took a very slow and methodical approach with Burnett's recovery, even though the pitcher has expressed that he's felt no lingering effects for the last couple of weeks. Burnett has only faced the White Sox one time in his career and he allowed no runs in six innings.

Buehrle has a 1-1 career mark against the Blue Jays, with a 3.97 ERA.
    Sunday - 2:05pm EST / RSN
Josh Towers, RHP (0-2, 6.75 ERA) vs Freddy Garcia, RHP (1-1, 9.00 ERA)
Towers has gone 3-2 with a 4.28 ERA against in his career

Garcia is a 5-3 with a 5.26 ERA in his career against Toronto.

    Players to watch
Wells is the only Blue Jays player to have recorded at least one hit in each of their first nine game. He's posted a .375 (15-for-40) average in that span. Wells is 4-for-17 in his career versus Vazquez.

2-2 Konerko goes deep, after a very questionable call by the ump on Thome's walk (should have been called 3rd strike and got out of the inning)
