Too far off from his talent ceiling considering his age. If he was like 7-6-6-5-7, he would be perfect, but at this point it's too much of gamble. Thanks anyway.

Francis is gone so I am pretty much done dealing with the addition of an middle infielder. Although Boyd or Olsen could go (in addition to Barrett) for a 27 or under MLB catcher who is a good hitter. Or if the catcher is really awesome, I'd deal them both.

I didnt realized you wanted Elster cause he was a SS, cause i was planning on moving him to 3B. Im able to give fielding time to Luis A. and get a True DH.

Defense really isn't a huge concern of mine, 2B was just ideal but generally I move the best hitters to the spots I have to fill.

I am happy with the trade though, I think it works well on both sides.

It does work for both sides. I get to boast a rotation thats all 26 or younger. And after getting Cairo from Louisville. I have a Super Utility guy just in case. I think it fits for both of us. No more GIL MECHE in the rotation.

Still looking to deal either Boyd or Olsen for a young catcher and if needed, I would include Barrett (who still has at least 4-5 productive seasons left) if the catcher coming back was worth it.
