    League Awards 2006

We all know the game will choose it's award winners. I'd like to see what we as managers would vote as the award winners before the league awards are announced. I'd also like to add a few that the league does not have. SO.... I'd like each reply to this thread to have everyone's vote (in format) for the following awards (just copy and paste the format and put your vote next to it).

    AL MVP:
    AL Cy Young:
    AL ROY:
    AL MDP (Most Disappointing Player):
AL MSGP (Most Shocking Great Performer):
    NL MVP:
    NL Cy Young:
    NL ROY:
    NL MDP:
    NL MSGP:
    Manager of the Year:

AL MVP: David Ortiz, COL- yeah i know hes in a hitting park, but 51 HRs (leads by 13 HRS), 129 RBIs, .660 SLG, 1.016 OPS are hard not to look at.
AL CY: Carlos Zambrano, SAV- 3rd in W (24), 1st in ERA, QS, OPP BA, R/9, WHIP, BABIP, 3rd in Ks, 2nd in K/9. No brainer.
    AL ROY: Andre Dawson, VAN
    AL MDP: Torri Hunter, ANA
AL MSGP: Roman Colon, ANA- Hes been clutch in ANAs pen. people forget about him.
NL MVP: Derek Lee, BAL- did everything he could for BAL to get them near the playoffs
NL CY: Johan Santana, CIN and Roy Halladay, ATL- both are too close to call for me
NL ROY: Prince Fielder, LOU- NO CONTEST.
NL MDP: Ken Griffey Jr, TEN and Barry Bonds TEN- Same as Fielder
NL MSGP: Will Ledszma, BAL- He won 20 games?
Manager of the Year: Lou Brown, CLE for AL, DD for NL- both did amazing jobs. which I could say the same.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)

TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)

AL MVP: David Ortiz. If only he had a higher average I would not have even thought about other players for this.
AL Cy Young: Zambrano with the edge over Prior
AL ROY: B.J. Upton CSKA (even with his 30 CS, his performance is good enough for me to give him the nod)
AL MDP (Most Disappointing Player): Bobby Abreu. Even with good run production, he only had a .218 BA. I will not choose from amung the aged players who dropped off the map like we knew they would.
AL MSGP (Most Shocking Great Performer): Darin Erstad. How he was amung league leaders in BA is beyond me.
NL MVP: Derrek Lee. Fabulous season
NL Cy Young: Johan Santana. Barely over Beckett. Beckett with just too many losses.
NL ROY: No doubt it is Fielder.
NL MDP: Pedro Martinez. Nowhere near Pedro like. Only 34 too, not much of an excuse.
NL MSGP: Runelvys Hernandez. My 1 star wonder
Manager of the Year: 119 Wins is nothing to sneeze at. Lou Brown
