    40 Man Rosters?

I'd like to add a few more features to the League if you guys think it's a good idea. This is a chance for us to do more with our teams. I can enable the 40 man roster option, and that will give us a few extra things that we can do. I'll explain here what we can do...

Your 40 Man roster will consist of those players that you wish to keep protected. All players that are on your active roster, must also be on your 40 man roster.

Minor League Option Years allows a player to be optioned to the minor leagues 3 seperate years while on the 40 man roster. After 3 option years, he must stay on the active roster, or clear waivers before demotion.

A player must clear Waivers before being sent to the minors if he is out of option years. A player must also clear waivers before he can be traded after the trading deadline. Any team may claim a player on waivers, but the original team may pull the player back and put him on their roster if he's claimed.

I'd love to hear everybody's opinion on this so we can move forward.

Waivers. Add waivers to the equation.

Absolutely, let's go for it....anything to make the game more realistic is good for me. I think I am smart enough to manage a 40 man roster.....or maybe I am drunk enough to think that I am smart enough. Who knows

I would love to have this as well. No doubt this would make things a lot more realistic. I will be claiming many players now! LOL.

    ok, waivers too.
But I'm not really for the idea of 40 man rosters unless a rule 5 draft was involved...

Yeah...I just forgot to list that as one of the benefits of doing a 40 man roster.

10-0 so far... that's pretty overwhelming. I think I should start working on a plan on the best way to set this up.

I did vote for yes, I think this might make things more competitive and even help some of us poor clubs. Then again, I've never been in a sim that's done all this, so.. I R NEW

I haven't either, so this is all new to me, and possibly all of us. I think this will make things even more interesting, and like you said, help the poor clubs get better. It'll force everybody to think a little harder when making decisions.

Weaker teams get first claims on waivers, I believe.
