Re: 2033 Rumbles in the Jungle

I am truly amazed that Baltimore has 5 starters in the top ten in ERA for the American League at the trade deadline. Amazed. Probably never happened before and never will happen again.

My offense is downright average though. My only frustration is with Richardson and Kwon and their ten talent in power and never showing even the slightest progression.

    OOTP is schizo.

So my team has spiralled out of control a quite the rediculous pace. The past two sims I went from i think 7-8 games under .500 to 30 games under .500. I know I only won once game the sim before the deadline, and I think I may have won 2-3 this past sim. Its not like my teams that awful either, though the pitching isnt as stellar has the previous few seasons. But this plunge has been probably one of the worst I've been a part of after making the playoffs last year. Sigh.

Philly loses another Ace starter..this one prolly for the season with only 2 sims remaining.. Looks like string of division wins coming to end and probably even knocked out of postseason. Injuries are definitely a bitch

I really like how the offense is developing with Braun, Granberry, and Henkle. It still needs some more pieces to make it solid. O'Shields and Westhoff and developing decently. A little stung by Van Nostrand's mini death, but hes only 21 so he could get it back. It's still a work in progress but I feel its going in the right direction.

Despite having the 2nd worse record, my team has managed to produce both the NL and AL Batters of the month. Quite the accomplishment haha

Re: 2033 Rumbles in the Jungle

Yea. Cleveland's 1B Herrera and SS Arashikage both broke the league records for doubles in a season, too. I think I need to tweak the settings / talent because the pitching has slowly gotten worse overall. It's not like guys are hitting .400 or OPSing in 1.000s, but the league ERAs are too high. I think there is too much hitting talent and not enough pitching depth. I need to lower triples again. I guess I didn't lower them enough.
