    Thursday 7/6/2032: Huge blow for St. Louis' Tardy, career over
    ST. LOUIS - It was one of baseball saddest days. St. Louis' right-hander Alfred Tardy fell victim to a career ending injury in a game against Pittsburgh on Thursday. He complained about pain after throwing a pitch to Stanley Perlmutter, then suddenly collapsed. After being examined by several specialists the diagnosis is clear: Torn Bicep Muscle. Alfred has a record of 9-6 this season, with an ERA of 3.14. In 155 Innings he was able to strike out 113 batters. Alfred has pitched one shutout and 4 complete games. He's 2nd in the National League in ERA and 5th in wins! His career featured a record of 149-104 with an ERA of 3.11. Baseball will certainly miss this great player.
    I love trading a bunch of specs and young players for 3 1/2 months of a player. Thanks OOTP!

    Yeah...so Lenihan forgot how to pitch in July..... He been progressively worse as the season went on... but cmon...

    I don't get this team. 4th in runs scored, 3rd in runs allowed, and yet only 8 games over .500 with a -8 Pythagorean. A sweet 9 - 13 sim. Enjoy AAA for the rest of 2032 Knapp and Hibbert.

    And once again my average team is able to scrape its way into the playoffs in the last sim. TImely Pitching and and offense that only knows how to hit for 1/3 of the year
