    Rotation:

    Cory Jones, 10-9-10
    Bertram Griffin, 9-10-10
    Nate Griffin, 10-10-10

Made a bunch of changes. Built up the farm a bit. Offense should manage, especially if that Cobos dude hits okay. Gets a little weak in the bottom of the half of the lineup but with some platooning, it might be OK enough. The rotation will be an adventure, and I do not expect much. Trying Gorski as a starter, just for fun. Pen has potential, but I say that every year, and it typically ends up sucking. The way the offseason went mostly, I don't think anyone in the AL Central wants to win the division....perhaps this will be KC or Cleveland's year.

    Re: 2028 Detroit Tigers

Well, this turned out to be somewhat different. Holy Culberson, Batman.

Detroit's run in TSSL has been very good, starting with Doppelganger's tenure. They of course, beat me when I ran Anaheim to go to the world series, only to lose to Leo, therefore giving him a large artificial ego. Thank you, Doppelganger. The team he largely built went on to another world series during the computer years. Under new ownership, Detroit went to the playoffs 5 consecutive seasons, and earning trips to the world series for the past 4 seasons. In real life 90's Atlanta Braves fashion, only one world series was won. The team has changed quite a bit since I took over, and yet somehow the most maddening player on the team, Ken Motonobu, still remains, as with most of the pen. This past season began with the idea of rebuilding due to financial restraints but quickly became a re-loading process after Eduardo Cobos was signed in the offseason much to everyone's surprise. But the re-load proved to be successful, maintain enough talent to stay competitive, stock the farm with good prospects, and ultimately cap flexibility once Halifax (RIP) and Jones enter free agency.

It was a good run, in fact, I am surprised I managed to be this successful. It was hard to leave Anaheim because of all of the players I really liked that I had assembled before TSSL ended. The computer was not kind to that team and I was forced to vacant the shell of a team I once built. Detroit was good and it's the first time I've ever ran a "Detroit" in a sim league. Often times frustrating when I wanted to fire most of my team most every season, they held together and made some memorable runs. I've long enjoyed TSSL with it's creativity and changes from the norm we are accustomed to with 6.5 leagues. And the draft themes are second to none.

So I leave this team, in a good place, hopefully in the hands of someone one day that will carry on a winning tradition for this team. Good luck to everyone, best of luck to the commissioner. Kingdom signing off.

Eh, not kinda a dick move to leave the team when the league is already looking for more gms....but if you feel you gotta do it, I guess you must.
