Create Your Own Player

This is a draft, please let me know if you notice anything that needs to be tweaked.

You may create one player this season. The player can either have your real name or a created name. In the future, you will be allowed to make a second player. Keep in mind that 2 players is the maximum that you can have at one time. Also...you can never have 2 players with created names at one time. In order to have 2 players, one must have your own name and the other must be a created name. Below are the rating points that you will be given to create you player. You may distribute the points as you wish, and you will have opportunities to earn points through participation in the league. The players age will be randomly generated by OOTP, but you can specify height, weight, player number, nickname, position ect.

LHP - 15 points
RHP - 15 points

24 points total to distribute between speed abilities and fielding

send in Opening Day line-ups
create extension thread
create trade block
earns 1 point

make at least 5 changes during season
earns 1 points

maximum 2 points per season

You will be responsible for keeping track of your own points by posting links to each post/thread. You will need to create a thread for your player to keep track of your points. Create the thread in this sub forum.

All created players will be included in the amateur player draft.

Crazy, I am a little confused with the LHP/RHP 15 points... Can you explain? Also, I assume we can set the intangibles to whatever we want... (clutch, injury, loyalty, etc...) or am I wrong? Thanks.

You can set your loyalty, but the rest will be randomized by OOTP

you have 15 points to spread through (vs lhp) and 15 points to spread through (vs rhp).

Not this season. We may open up to everyone in future seasons, and once the league is full.

At least use your first name... the last name I'll give a pass on.

For fielding, use the chart. Use points for range and you will receive the listed fielding pct and arm strength as well.

You don't need points to create a player, everyone in the league can create one player. You can earn points to improve your player.

PM me the information. If you do it tonight, there is a chance I can get the player entered tonight, because I'm working on the draft class an doing occasional uploads. Although, there you don't have to send them in until the beginning of the season.
