Yeah, that was something that we had talked about. Although, I think it might be more fun to allow it. Some teams will want to own their own player, and others will like the added fun of owning someone else's player, and let someone else own theirs. Obviously, if antoher team drafts you, then there is more of a challenge with contract negotiations. I think that it is ok to allow teams to own their own player as long as there are rules to prevent tampering.
ok, sounds good to me! it will take a little more of a close watch, but it will def be fun
Is there a deadline for when you want these in?
By the Opening day sim, which will probably be in a week, but possibly sooner.
when's ST sim gonna be?
I'm not sure yet. I should have the rehab clinic up soon. I had planned on the ST right after, but another problem has arisen. Disapearing players..... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh OOTP really doesn't like me. lol
haha uh oh! take your time
Im still waiting on the pitchers formula to come up.
Sorry Porter! I did mention this earlier in the thread, but I think it is lost somewhere. lol We're only going to allow position players to be created this time. The next time when we are allowed to create the second player, then pitchers will be allowed to be created. I want to start with just the hitters this time though. Since this is a new system, and there are variable between hitters and pitchers that could give one or the other an unfair advantage at least until we know what works and what doesn't work. So this time....we are just doing position players.
Ill send a position player later today or tomorrow. Do we start with standard 5's or what have you?
Is it to late for me to create myself?
I don't get the concept. What's the incentive for me to "participate" more and improve my namesake's talent if he's just going to someone else's team?
Create yourself, and draft him on your team.
