I lost my other 1st rounder that I didn't actually draft to a season ending injury and some talent loss the same week he was drafted. Talk about getting off to a great start to your pro career.
My leading hitter is out a month. Excellent time to start panicking, since the offense sucks.
Batting AVG: .276 (5th)
Homeruns: 86 (28th)
Walks: 369 (T-10th)
Stolen Bases: 102 (4th)
Runs Scored: 615 (2nd)
Pitching ERA: 4.75 (16th)
Opponents AVG: .264 (15th)
HRs Allowed: 107 (15th)
Walks Allowed: 361 (18th)
Runs Allowed: 543 (17th)
I do need a backup catcher for Soto. But the offense's is clicking on all cylinders right now. Then again the top 3 teams in runs scored resides in the AL Central. The bullpen is getting better but its still a major weakness.
Crap. Forgot to work the Peavy trades before the deadline.
Deepest apologies to Koz and CJ, who both sent offers. :(
On a side note, I still managed to gain a 5.0 star prospect over the sim.
Louie Kelly has gained more power!
Batting AVG: .263 (14th)

HRs Allowed: 129 (21st)
Walks Allowed: 367 (9th)

Probably the best sim in the young history of TBSL for my club. Wily Mo Pena is just hitting everythin, McLouth is so much better than Ross at the bottom, and Cogner is tearing the cover off the baseball the last 3 weeks.
Then some huge development news:
8/12/2011
Sean O'Sullivan seems to have improved his pure stuff!
Sean O'Sullivan's pitches have more bite now, the movement has improved!
Sean O'Sullivan is hitting his spots better, his command improved!
Sean O'Sullivan's control seems to have taken a bump...
Pretty busy day... I'll probably call up Tazawa and see what he can do in the 5 spot of the Rotation before I give Cliff Lee another crack at it
yay for this trade

This team wasn't suppose to win this many games THIS SEASON. I'm just waiting for a bullpen to implode before it gets to Soria. The current rotation is a combined 57-25 with 71 of the 118 starts being quality (60.1%).
James Wine might have the worst ratings to ever get 20 wins.
Orestes Gomez has lost some power to the gaps...
Orestes Gomez continues to die.
How the hell he's still a 5.0 star prospect is beyond me.
SF almost lost the div in August, but squeaked away with a victory in the end.
Hopefully Boston keeps up the hot streak in the playoffs.
Have missed the playoffs both years, by a combined 2 games.
