ok so i've entered everything, but OOTP is being really annoying and freezing when I try to sim. Nothing really bad, the file is fine. But it's preventing me from simming. I'm gonna see if I can figure out what's wrong.

did you auto generate lineups for anyone? sometimes the game puts the same player in a lineup twice and that causes it to freeze. I had that happen a couple times early on and it would freeze when it got to that game on the schedule.

hmm ok. i'll take a look. it's freezing at the seattle-oakland game on the first day. that's probably what it is. i'll look at both teams.

ok after taking forever to scour the lineups, i figured out that Chone Figgins was entered twice into Dam's lineup. 15 minutes and the sim will be complete, then I'll upload

ahahaha.. that happened to me w/ Dam's lineup once too, damn near drove me nuts. Thought the league crashed. It's the way he lays out his depth chart, and I entered someone twice too.

YES it was his depth chart. i finally figured out it was putting Figgins in CF twice cuz he was entered in the depth chart at LF too or something like that. i don't remember exactly. But yes, that was the problem. I was pulling my hair out every time because I couldn't find it for the longest time, and every time I would test it I'd have to paste another copy of the backup into the OOTP folder and that takes like 10 minutes. It was so horribly annoying

I believe it happened to me when I had to auto-manage teams. I know it happened with Cleveland under their Bdawk/open/mntwins reign.
