I got a lot of nice pieces, and I'm willing to mix and match all of them. All you need to do is bring talent to the table. I want young specs. Keep in mind I'm not looking for a DH as I'm an NL team. I don't want late 20's and probably not even mid's. Feel free to offer anything though.

Aaron Villegas, Shortstop, 31 yrs - One of the best sim players ever, could be yours.

Jose "Grits" Davila, Third Base, 31 yrs - Where would he be without his fellow bash brother? They are a great 1-2 punch, but the Cubs don't have the fan support or the financial support to build a team around them.

Jay Labarbera, Starting Pitcher, 27 yrs - He's sexy, we know.

Mickey McFinnigan, Closer, 24 yrs - Down year this year, but check out his first two years and his talent. I'm surprised he's done as well as he has with bad defenses his whole career as a Cub.

Marvin "Roadblock" Hinton, First Base, 25 yrs - He needs to fill out his contact, but he hit .341 last year and .348 in April of this year. I have no idea why he's struggled the last two months.

Clinton Cheshire, Catcher, 25 yrs - All Star catcher who brings good defense and a nice .356 AVG to the table. Plus he's a switch hitter.

Richard "Buzzer" Blinken-Smythe, Reliever, 26 yrs - Very talented, Bobby Jenks-esque. He's a little under developed, but he's continued to do so. He's increased his actuals this year.

Looking at his financials, seeing that he is +6, and with other teams in the division making deadline moves, he probably is making a good decision to see if rebuilding is a viable option

his financial situation is better now than it has been in the past. And actually, he has more money available than your team and is on pace to make a profit, which your team may not. So I think I'd rather hear what he says about it than your speculation.

It all depends on what is offered. I'm not going to blow it up just for the sake of doing it. I thought last year was my best shot. But I know if I was ever going to trade Davila and Villegas this would be the year.

Plus Buck being out 6 weeks makes me think I don't have a shot. McFinnigan had a 7 ERA though going into this sim. If he gets his act together (he's 1-5 with 5 blown saves). Then perhaps I could make a run at this.

Honestly Buck is what really made me want to see what was out there. My pitching staff couldn't afford that blow. Though crazier things have happened.

ahh, forgot about the injury to Buck. He will be back in September though and who knows what can happen...but that makes sense on some level at least.
