CF Carlos Gomez (3.0 stars), RF/3B Kris Harvey (2.5 stars)

Carlos Gomez is only 31, 8-7-9-5-6 ratings with plus speed and defense. He has one year left on his contract at only 5 million. I will trade him for a fair offer. He isn't a salary dump and the TC wouldn't treat him like that, so just give me something where I am taking on no salary at all (or under 1 million at a max) that would pass and we'll have a deal.

Kris Harvey is pretty similar in many ways, but is 34. A 5 million dollar contract for one more season, 8-7-9-5-6 ratings, not much speed, but he can play 3B too. The difference is though his asking price would be a lot lower. A 3.0 star SP prospect would do it and he is a guy who could really bat fairly high for a RHP lineup.

I have been hit hard by injuries and talent + rating losses (both to old and young, prospect and non-prospect.) I really do not expect to compete next year and I do have depth in the OF. If you don't want to fight FA, PM me and we'll make something work.

It seems like I have a deal in place for Gomez, so for now he is off the block.

Harvey though is cheap. 3.0 prospects fill up a bulk of most of our systems and he is still a nice power bat to have. You could even trade for him as just a backup option; in case you can't sign who you want in FA and if you did sign them, you could trade Harvey or use him as a nice backup option.
