The deadline to post starters, send lineups, and get rosters back down to 25 will be Wednesday 8/6 at 7PM EDT. At that time I will sim the first round of the playoffs. he doesn't need luck...he needs an ass whooping.

seriously, 3 of his starters are lefties and some of my hitters didn't do too well against lefties, but I don't think it will matter. I'll be shocked if I lose. My pitching is better and my offense is better. Everyone plays each team the same number of times, but he was the only team above .500 so obviously he had an easier time making the playoffs. 4 out of the 5 teams in my division finished above .500.

Well SD is 6-5 against you this season.

My matchup should be interesting. Premier hitting (HOU) vs. Premier pitching (NYN). Hopefully I can pull this one off. My pitchers should be set up for domination!!!

I'm not worried about that. My team is better and we should beat them. Oh, and he'll be facing all of my top guys and not my #5 or any bench players starting.

I'll be shocked if I win.

I just hope to get a minor moral victory and Knipp wins his start.

why would that be a moral victory? I didn't trade him because I didn't want him or anything. He'll be going against Harden unless you don't start him game 1.

Prov, your staff is ridiculously nasty. You have a .4 better ERA than me and I am second in ERA.

I have the 3rd best staff ERA in all of baseball.

Go figure that the 2 better staff ERAs are both in the playoffs in the same league as me.

Re: 2018 AL and NL Division Series

San Diego has a winning record against all 3 of the other playoff teams.

Of course, having a winning regular season record against the Cardinals didn't do the real Padres a whole lot of good in the 2006 playoffs.

Granted, Ronald Knipp won't be pitching game one with a broken rib, either.

I didn't expect Boatman and Meiners to perform so well. Also, Hottovy wasn't supposed to start, but Kaneie lost talent.

Wow, I had a losing record against all 3 of the teams.

    NY (N): 4 - 9
    HOU: 5 - 7
    SD: 6 - 7

we were 1st in runs allowed and 3rd in runs scored, so hopefully those win out.

Also, I updated the 1st post with all the info needed to make changes.
