that may be something to look at down the road depending on what happens this year. I may do it regardless, but we'll see. I was thinking of making 2 divisions in each league like the old days. We already don't use interleague. There would still be 4 playoffs teams in each league though; 2 division winners and 2 wild cards. As it were now each division would have 7 teams. How about they do, but if the wild card doesn't meet a certain win requirement than the third place team can steal the other divisions wild card?
I think it should be the two division winners and the remaining two teams with the best records, regardless of which division they're in.

I'm not sure how it would work in the game. The game is complicated in some aspects, but limited in others. I would guess that the 2 Wild Cards would be the 2 teams with the next best records regardless of what division they're in. If it even lets me have more than 1 Wild Card. I will be looking into it though.
For sure, I won't change anything if it means less playoff spots at this point. I know the old format didn't have the Wild Card, but I think that could make for some very boring action if a couple teams run away with it...
