I really wanted Kearns, but Long Island beat my offer by 500k.

I misjudged the market on Kearns, because he lasted so long. I really lucked out getting Sisler in the 1st round for only $5 Mil. I never thought I would get him, but everyone else ignored him.

yea, typically the longer a player stays out there, the more expensive he gets due to players signing and other GMs increasing offers...I got lucky with Eck and Rose signing in that first period because I'm sure they would have gone up. I was leading on Molitor, but he didn't sign. I ended up getting him for $2.5 mil more than my original offer.

I am not a huge fan of FA in these sim leagues. Usually, I sit them out, but my team here had a decent amount of money and needed help so I had to. I just participated in the TPSL FA period for the first time in 3 seasons I think

I think it's harder participating in FA in a league that you commish, so I can see why you sat ti out the last three seasons. The only way I feel right doing it is to make my offers all before I open free agency to everyone else, and then not change them until after FA is over.

I don't usually participate in my league, but I was referring to TPSL, which is Nick's league. If I make offers in my league, I send them to Hammer or Nick before I ever see anyone else's offers so as to keep it fair.

Wow, totally and completely missed this thread.

I'm shocked we haven't heard anything from Halladay_is_God about losing out on Halladay. Are you OK buddy?

Happy to add another bat in Kearns (suck it Crazy, 500K difference) and a big time ace in Halladay. Now one more hitter would be real nice.
