At least it's only for 3 years and he's only 27. He's a favorite of mine and I couldn't let him walk after trading Rojas. I drafted him back in the first year of the sim, 2006, at the age of 17. He gained talent a few times and made the majors at 21. He's been a solid contributor ever since...despite a slow start this year. He seems to do that a lot. He's won 3 World Championships with me and 3 Gold Gloves. He's also the only guy to hit the cycle for me. I love him!

Wheeler said he was going to retire and I'll be losing some more money next season. Everyone else is under control, too.
