What would be more believable, Eck being suspended for knocking out someone three times his size or being busted for 'roids?

    All for it.

I am and have always been against the fact that way too many good, young players die without rhyme or reason. Does Albert Pujols suddenly stop hitting and become as good as Joe McEwing with no reason? No, that doesn't happen. now if he breaks down due ot major injury, is busted cause he's the biggest coke head this side of Michael Irvin or has psychological issues, ...completely understandable. When players on OOTP die because they suffered a major injury, that's entirely likely and realistic. The other scenario is not, so I thinking protecting our superstars from the evil grips of the OOTP virus is a good idea.

I like KoZ idea if I understand it correctly. Protecting the players that just magically lose talent for no reason *Volquez/cough*. Injuries do happen though, and talent losses because of that can be realistic.

it's your league bro...I'm up for whatever and will try to keep up with all the add-ons.

for the record, I secretly (well not a secret now) fix players that lose talent for no reason at all in TSSL if they meet my requirements. They need to be under 30, it can't be related to an injury, they can't be a prospect (unless in the majors already), and the talent will be returned to equal their current ratings. i.e. if a player was 9 out of 10 contact and lost contact talent to 8 with no injury and he's under 30, I would return it to 9 since that is where his ratings were. Sometimes players lose talent if they do not fill out like that. I fixed several players over the last 2 seasons like that.

    Re: Franchise Players

First off, I am a little confused. When you say a player dies do you mean he actually is dead or his stats drop really fast?

I love the idea of a franchise player, but I would limit it to 1 player per team at the end of each season. Also I think a player should only be able to franchise a certain player for only a certain period of years(say 5 years).

    Re: Franchise Players

Dies meaning, his talent drops drastically.

I.E. Player A who's 26, for example, goes from 9-9-10-7-7 potential to 7-7-8-7-7 potential or worse.

I can understand protecting against a career ending injury or possibly even a huge talent loss for a season ender.... but changes in projected talent happen all the time.... in both directions... if you protect against the drops, you have to then protect against the surges as well... I'm sure you're all not complaining when a 2.5 star goes to a 4 star or a 3.5 star becomes a 5.0 stud spect

That is the biggest thing I am against.... all anyone wants is positive... when negatives are a part of the game....
