    Final 2008 Draft Comments Thread

Since I intentionally chose to just be auto'd under the premise that we were doing lists and I didn't want to sift through all the players to make a long one, but I am generally active, do I get the same benefit?

Oh yeah...there is no question that you are active. I'll hold as long as I can for anyone that I know is active.

    Poor Miami

How long does each team get that sent lists? Just curious, hopefully it doesn't take days. (zzz)
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?

Too much junk in the other threads...

Tokyo took a HUGE chance on a race car driver!

I am praying for development. A season and a half until he loses spec status, but OOTP develops pitchers late so I am gonna risk it.

Damn near drafted Jake Long, but I love a high risk/high reward option!

Miami blew their pick. Pittsburgh with a nice selection at 2.
I'm stoked, 2 guys taken already that weren't in my top eight list.

IMHO Jake Long is the best hitter on the board and he is still available at #6

I'd rather have the ML ready guy with a high ceiling

I bet Montoya was one of them! He is a risk...

Nate Ryan and Pena are fairly well developed and that does trump the ratings. I was looking at all talent compared to each other and just liked the way Long was set up.

Didn't even see the Pena kid.

Montoya wasn't even on my top 13 list that I originally sent. I just couldn't find the nerve to risk it, even though he could end up as the best SP from the class. Pena wasn't there either but I overlooked him. Talib wasn't on my list. Rivers was, but down past the first 8 picks. So now four taken that aren't on my list. I'm happy.

I'm going to go finish my little mock thing I was making for CSSL. I got interrupted by food or else I prolly would have had it out just before this began. Sorry on that. Still could be fun, I guess?
