    Toronto - St. Louis

    Toronto trades:

    1B Daric Barton - 3.0 stars - $2.5 mil

    St. Louis trades:

SP Orlando Vargas - 3.5 star spec - MLC

note: he wanted both Vargas and Lenz for just Barton...I thought Barton for Lenz was fair, but he wants Vargas. For what it's worth, Barton is now in AAA for him...

I dunno...Vargas is gonna be 26 soon...Barton could be a real stud with that power and discipline...I'm gonna have to veto, sorry
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

believe me, I figured as much, but that's the guy he wanted...and to be fair, Vargas is almost filled out at 6,8,9,10.

Lenz and Vargas is too much...Lenz and Barton are about even and I offered that to him...he said no, he wanted Vargas it's fine...but don't tell me both of them for a guy in AAA is fine when you just ****ing traded for a 3.0 1B with a spec and a pick. No way will that spec and pick out-value Lenz and Vargas. How do you know I won't just leave the draft shit like the SBSL one we just had?

Lenz hasn't had a good season in 4 years.

Personally, I have no problem with it, if only because he's not even using Barton anyway.

    Pass.

I'll allow it. Last season, some of us thought that Prov didn't get enough when he traded Barton for Perry Cudjoe and overpaid 36 year old Roy Halladay, and Vargas is close enough to Cudjoe.

You know what, this isn't so bad...I'll pass it on through, because I've had deals where people want one player who's worse than the player I'm offering. If he isn't playing Barton then OK.

pass if it needs it.. barton has bounced around and vargas is a 6/8/9 lefty, thats decent enough. admittedly though, barton could be a beast with a chance, but doesnt look like toronto is gonna give it to him.
