Not to bemoan anybody here, because you guys are all quality posters and do a good job...but we don't have a single league without a TC. I think if we didn't have one here, it would prove the point of how bad some teams get without a TC, and we could see teams like Porter crash and burn. This might be a bit radical and it's probably just because I'm sick of people crying about it though.

every league goes through lulls like this where idiots complain and the council gets aggravated and wants to end it to let them tank. fact of the matter is, i dont give a shit if porter and mntwinsfan **** their teams up... council is more or less in place to make sure guys like dave and whoever else doesnt take advantage of a new guy and sets their team up for the next 15 years and the new guy is left in shit for the next 15 years.

that said, id have no problems seeing a league without a council.

For opinion sake, and let's be honest, does the Wright deal cripple porter's team? No, he at least gets some talent. Hodges/Tracy deal? That's a pretty realistic deal if you think about it. I understand it draws controversy but it's not a lopsided thing. My Cano deal? Cano's not that good.. think about the fact you belittled Kinsler and Kinsler is every bit on par with Cano. He's also young, yes, but so is Kinsler. And for Cano, the mets got that Casilla guy. He took off in two of the leagues, low risk high reward guy. Yan's the same thing and I know he was persued by teams in other leagues cause of his elite speed and potential to be a solid leadoff guy. To me, that was a simple deal. If Cano's real-life talent was mirrored through his ratings, yeah this would be a bad trade. But back to the original topic, the Wright deal.. I would have voided it, just cause I think Wright is being highly devalued for whatever reason. And judging by trades that have passed, he's not the only guy devalued, for whatever reason. But porter has never quit any of the leagues, if he makes his team the suck in yet another league, he'll stick with it. He hasn't quit s3sl and his Arizona team is the definition of mediocrity. And I've crippled him time in and time out in TSSL, and he remains. If the fear is, letting him do the deals he wants will kill the franchise and him abandoning it, making it impossible to fill said franchise, I would not worry.. at all

And my other deal, I expected that to fail but he wanted Kinsler a lot and didn't want Lackey much, shrug.
