    Re: Poll of the Month

if he quit on me, i wouldnt be able to put it behind me because im a vindictive prick... but if you feel like hes apologetic and can handle his trades being vetoed, and can understand the time limit on extensions, then i see no reason why not. this is one that i believe, the ball is 100% in your court on. out of the 30 people in the league... or 29... id say maybe 10-12 recognize and remember the reasons for him quitting.

i also believe though... you should give him whatever team you feel is in worst shape, in the shape he left minnesota. i havent looked over the 3 teams, but if cleveland is in the best shape prospectually and at the major league level, then i dont see why he should be able to step into that position, when he left minnesota as a piece of shit.

well, I'm not sure if you know the history behind this and the reason for my apprehension about letting him back in...I seriously think he's bipolar or something.

and I'm sure Nick can speak for all the BS that we deal/dealt with from him as commissioners.

I want to say no, but allowing him back also means there is one less team for you to manage. And Cleveland is not a rose garden by any means. I'm still going to veto any attempts by other GM's to rip him off, though.

yea, part of me just says **** it and let him in to fill a team...having no luck with that for some reason despite being consistently active since I've taken over...oh well. I'll still wait and see what the other members think.

    Re: Poll of the Month

    I'm stuck between 2 answers.
    1) Hell no
    2) Yes, and if he complains about the TC ONCE he's out of the league
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

I'd rather have him than an empty team, but if there are other people wanting a team, go with them.

    Re: Poll of the Month

I personally don't see a problem with it. I understand what it's like to have an owner quit, come back, quit again, come back again, and just generally suck at managing, but we need teams filled.

    Re: Poll of the Month

Yeah, let him in. I don't like him all the time, but honestly, when he isn't weird, he's generally a good guy (no, seriously... he has been nice to me at times, and as much of an idiot as he is, I don't think he has cruel intentions).

Like prov said, he really has bi-polar tendencies... you just gotta deal with it sometimes.

Also, I would keep him on a short leash, but don't tell him that... that might just agitate him. Just keep in mind if he screws up, you're going to yank him. And watch his trades and shit closely. I mean, it's better than not having ANYONE.

Also, prov, I'm going to head over to the OOTP forum for you and find some users for the league. Or try, atleast.

I made a post on the OOTP boards too... we'll see if anyone signs up here as a result. Hopefully we'll get the spots filled soon.
