Both me and DMBZ decided we needed a shakeup. I've been dealing with a stale roster for about 4 seasons now, so this is an exciting shakeup for me.

fail. Chicago is giving up way too much in relation to what it is receiving in return. Yes, they save a lot of money, but each player they're giving up is younger than 30 years old. Jackson and Hirsh are studs and IMHO command 2 - 3 specs each. Both pitchers are also signed for at least 3 years at less than market value for sure. Jenks is a top reliever that has posted an ERA of under 3.30 in every season except one with many of the seasons under 2. Hodges is above average and Cooper is decent.

Essentially, I'd probably pass this if it were only Jackson and Hirsh for all of that. All of the other pieces make this deal extremely unfair to me.

Agree with Prov, Atlanta either needs to give up some more or take a couple pieces out of the Chicago side.

Seems to me that the Cubbies could get a lot more in return if they shipped these guys out seperately.

    I really don't like it either. It's a fail.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

OK, so this is a fail. Feel free to try and rework this with DMB...split it up and add stuff, take stuff out, whatever...

For some reason I think DMB agreed to this bullshit trade because he knew it wouldn't pass the TC, and therefore, he manipulated the manipulant one.
