almost immediately after erik put Villegas on the market, we had a deal in place to bring him to Cleveland. would've been something to the tune of Villegas for Patchell, Ignacio Rondo, and Dellin Betances. but after some mulling, i decided that i couldn't part with Betances.

a move i'll no doubt live to regret, as Betances goes on to be a perennial 14-game winner, and Villegas gets 4,000 hits and 8 MVP's
