June 1 can't get here fast enough. Then I'll have 4 solid bats, all of which preside over my IF. Now if I could just get an outfield and a bullpen, I'd be in decent shape.

He is good, no question. But he's no Davila.
He's not even Villegas, really. He's 3rd best ever in tssl. He does have longevity on our guys, but he's not s'damn amazing.
However, if Pujols would like to see the promised land, he should come to Anaheim ;]

I'm pretty pumped for this season...a bit more changes than usual this offseason for the Rays in hopes we can maybe go somewhere in the playoffs for once. I may go with a 5 man once Peavy gets back depending on the performances of Chacin and Kim.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Somehow managed a 10-5 sim. Madson had 4 wins. Thats one less then all of last season when he started 25 games.... Morrow, Hamels and Serrano pitched well in the rotation. Myers is out for a sim, so I think John Danks deserves a chance to play. Hope GOlson and Bourn revert to their normal selves as the season goes on or my team wont be good offensively....again...

8 - 7 sim for the Cards...I'll take it considering Haren and Harden went a combined 1 - 5...that won't last too long

Ramirez, Kuntz, and Santos are off to great starts offensively.

12-3 sim for the Cubbies! Looks like they needed it. Jenks is out 3 weeks which hurts my pen big time. Villarreal another top pen arm for me is day to day, and so is my lead off man Weddo. With Lidge gone, the Cubs aren't super deep in the pen this year.

Also St. Louis did well with their aces going 1-5. I'm guessing they will surge past me shortly. I think I'll be able to hold the lead at least one more sim.

8-7 for the Pirates, as well.

But there goes the #3 pitching spect, Villalobos down to 8-6-6. *sigh*

At least Delwyn is taking to the 2 hole nicely.

    more on Boston's 11-4 sim

    1-2 vs TOR
    2-1 @ NYY
    2-0 @ TB
    2-0 vs KC
    3-0 @ CLE
    1-1 vs BAL

    Batting AVG: .270 (12th)
    Homeruns: 13 (21st)
    Walks: 61 (1st)
    Stolen Bases: 6 (29th)
    Runs Scored: 83 (T-8th)

    Pitching ERA: 3.20 (1st)
    Opponents AVG: .237 (5th)
    HRs Allowed: 11 (10th)
    Walks Allowed: 47 (15th)

Finally getting some pitching early in the season
Josh Beckett went 1-2 but his 2 losses came from 1-0 games, great run support.

Ervin Santana had a very good sim too going 2-1 with a 2.14 ERA.

    hitters are struggling
    Eric Chavez .192 3 HR 9 RBI
    Chase Utley .196 3 HR 6 RBI
    Austin Kearns .228 1 HR 11 RBI

And say hello to the new no. 1 farm system with 7 prospects in the top 100, 3 in top 20.
