Opening Day 2011 Sim: Friday 7/20/07 12PM EDT (Deadline 11AM EDT)

The site is being updated with the results from spring training. All changes are due by 11AM on Friday the 20th. Once we get the season rolling I will sim 3 times a week. The reason I'm give a longer break here is because I anticipate a lot of changes for the first sim. Please keep everything in one PM. Thanks.

We should finish 2011 before I go back to work when school starts. Once I go back to work we'll sim twice a week like we did before.

OK, the deadline has passed...do not send anymore changes. I will sim in a little while. I do need to make some changes to a couple teams that don't have 25 guys on their roster before I sim. I'm not going to let people tank like some teams did last year. Some of these people didn't even send ST info. There has been more than enough time for those teams get changes in.

There was a little error that resulted in TB and Boston having an extra game played (at least in the standings). I had autoed Toronto's lineup and in the lefty line up the game put the same player in there twice...when it simmed, the game froze. Boston had beat Tampa Bay before the Toronto game...but when I reloaded the game it said the game between Boston and Tampa Bay wasn't played, but it was in the standings Tampa Bay then won the game. So the error resulted in Boston being 3 - 1 instead of 3 - 0 and Tampa Bay being 1 - 3 instead of 0 - 3. I'm not going to do the whole sim over with the backup file. I don't think that's fair to all of the other teams. There's no way for me to edit the standings. I will delete a game between Boston and Tampa Bay to even out the standings.

huh? the game is in the standings...notice how both you and Boston "played" 11 games and everyone else played 10? I deleted the August 20th game so everyone will have 162 games in the standings.
