    Washington - San Francisco

Hope it's ok I'm posting it. Krush and I agreed to the deal.

    SFN sends:
SS Nathan Bridges 4.5 Spect (MLC)
    2B Kevin Frandsen 2.0 Stars ($300,000)
SP Shane Komine 2.5 Stars ($1,279,286)
SP Armando Galarraga 2.5 Stars) ($300,000)

    WAS sends:
OF Alphonso Davila 5.0 Spect (MLC)
OF Dennis Meeks 5.0 Spect (MLC)

    --------------------

Before someone fails based on the fact that I'm getting two 5.0 spects, or it looks like I'm giving up way too much... please keep in mind... one is turning 26 very soon, and is far off potential wise. The other is 19 and MLB ready however. That evens out somewhat. Bridges is way down the line, and I had no use for and is far off in his own, but has room to grow for WAS. Frandsen is low on the depth chart for me.

Main piece was for Meeks obviously, but I'm giving up a little more to take a chance on Davila and catch lightening in a bottle.

Vote as you may! Just had to sort of explain the deal.

Pass. A couple outfield spects for a couple solid pitchers and an extra infielder(for SF, anyway).

Pass. The two San Francisco SP's are worth the outfield spects, but Nick better hope Davila pans out.

    Re: Washington - San Francisco

It's a big risk, I agree. But I had a guy in S3SL (Jose Erazo) who was 25 and underdeveloped, and he developed really quickly and is a top-10 hitter in the league now.

So I'll hope it happens. If it doesn't, tough luck for me... but you gotta take risks sometimes.
