Good luck Slyder. Two of the best three teams according to Pythagorean record. I predict winner of this series wins WS. You were the only team I didn't want to face in round 1. This is a series I'd pay some serious money to see. All games should be like 4-3 or 3-2. May the best team win.
already disrespecting the Nationals and the Cards, eh? I know both of you had winning records against me, but I did have the best Pythagorean record, finished 2nd in the power rankings, finished with the 3rd best record, had the best pitching staff, and the best defense. Believe me, I'm just happy I even made it, but we have as good of a shot as anyone...

You have a very good team in the Cardinals. I think the National League's top teams are very strong. In a short series however, it comes down to top 3 starters and late bullpen, and I would put mine up against anyones. Willis, Billingsley, Schmidt, Gagne, and Nathan. That is hard to beat. I just hope I have enough offense. Gonzo, Young, Furcal, and my OF has to play much better than they did in the regular season. Good luck to all.
I would put the depth of my pen against anyone. My pen should be much deeper. If you case a starter early then you got to face 9 8 8 Turnbow, 2.29 ERA Rusty Tucker, 3.88 Sam Narron. If I get to setup Ive got Bill Bray or any of the afforementioned guys. My closer is 10,8,9 Adam Brandt (.63 ERA on the road). In a short series the pen can win or lose a series as I proved last year with the pen choking a couple games late vs the Cubs.

I guess the lesson to take from this is not to insult the commissioner's team.
Good series Slyder. My team just didn't preform well. Yours did well though.
I didn't think you insulted my team lol, but hey, I lost, too
