I haven't decided if Lilly will go to my rotation or not. Depends how Kennedy starts off. Either way I have a 6th reliable starter. If Hughes develops I may have some good pieces for a deadline deal.

*sigh* I may just scrap this season and build for next year as more of my spects get ready... I dunno if I have the guns to match Chicago and St. Louis this year.

if you were truly scrapping the season, you'd trade Santana and Pujols...maybe Fielder and make a killing. If that were my team, I'd be tempted to do that...hell, I could do something similar if I wanted with Harden, Zam, Haren, Street, and Reed.

I wont scrap that far but pieces that are more middle age/older would probably try and move. Ive got too much too close to being ready and its not like Pujols, Fielder, and Santana are that old :P.

Sorry...I just heard the words "Prince" and "Fielder" in the same sentence...maybe I should stop dreaming.

    *goes back to sleep*
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

no one wants old players though...I'm just saying you'd get a better return...that's all. I'm not saying you should do it...just that it'd be tempting...look what I got for Sheets:

    CL 4.5 Street 10,9,9,3 (10 control talent)
    SP 3.0 Haren 7,7,9,7 (8,9,10,7 talent)
OF 4.0 spec Gutierrez (who was later traded with some lesser pieces to get Figgins)

You could easily get 2 packages similar to that and 1 a little less than that if you traded those 3 guys.

We shall see. I want to take a look and see how the team does. This is still largely the same team that won 95 games and was 1 game from WS, without an infield of any name recognition besides Fielder for most of the year.

You won 95 games last year! Don't get too down on yourself. If you dominate head to head matchups you have a good shot at getting the division crown again.
