    2009 M's: Seeking Revenge.

    2009 Seattle Mariners Roster

After the nightmare of the LDS last season the M's are ahead of schedule on their timeline to contend. They do have the 9th youngest team in baseball going into FA.

Most of the roster is pretty much set right now. I'm looking to clear up some final touches thru FA or post-FA trading. Mench is pending approval. Unlike last year where I was only trying to compete. I'm going to make the run at the AL title this time around. Playoffs or bust. Average Age of this bunch is 27.36 before FA. Only 4 guys on the roster is older than 30. Much improved team from last year.

Okay, Now that most of the FA is almost over. I think that its going to be another war in the AL West again. Hopefully my Rotation after Burnett-Felix can stay effective enough to get the game to the dangerous bullpen. Any Commens/Suggestions.

I suggest that...you tell me how to make a flashy team thread like that. With the boxes and such.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

That is how you make the table. Now any suggestions on the team itself?

Liked the Milton signing. If the back end of the rotation holds up I expect another good season. The AL West should be another battle again but the addition of the great Rocco Baldelli (!!) will certainly help you. Crisp will also be a nice fit in the 2 hole IMO.

Livan gained talent (who knew) and won 21 games (how I don't know). Anderson was effective before his late injury and Milton was great when he was last in Seattle (when he was the million dollar man). If the back half of my rotation repeats these numbers.

    Code:
Year	G	GS	W	L	SV	ERA	IP	HA	R	ER	HR	BB	K	CG	SHO	WHIP	BABIP
    2008	34	34	15	9	0	3.21	215.2	183	87	77	24	64	192	1	0	1.15	.268
    2008	39	39	21	12	0	4.41	273.1	288	150	134	33	101	218	3	1	1.42	.314
    2008	31	31	13	11	0	4.41	192.0	236	110	94	26	50	131	2	1	1.49	.328
    Ill like my teams chances.
