    AL East Predictions

    1. Baltimore
    1. Boston
    3. Toronto
    4. Tampa Bay
    5. NYY

Baltimore and Boston made some major moves to upgrade their teams.

I give Baltimore the edge in offense and Boston the edge in pitching.

If McGowan and Cabrera develop... Baltimore will be the team to beat.

Toronto is a dark horse... Halladay is possibly the best SP in the AL East and Toronto has a few youngsters that could break out this year.

    TB is young.

    NYY is old.

I like Boston's pitching the best.
Baltimore probably has the best offense.
Toronto is well rounded, but not good enough to overcome the two powerhouses.
Tampa made some nice moves, but not enough to move past fourth place.
New York didn't do enough. An old team, no catcher, a dead giambi, shaky pitching rotation. They might have enough offense to overtake tampa... but I think 4th place is the ceiling.
