    not thrilled about loosing street... but I think there is a closer or two out there on the market who can step in.... starting pitching is more valuable.

    I like Hafner a lot, but this offer met more of my needs. 1) replacing Sheets with a competent, young, cheap, locked up pitcher. 2) getting a solid closer who just happens to also be young, cheap, and locked up for a while. 3) getting a decent OF spec to replace my older OFs at some point.
