Ok, here's the deal. When I changed the draft date, the original draft eligible players were dumped into the FA pool and a new draft class was created. What do you want me to do with them (and NO, first come first served is NOT an option)

we have to draft...the Cardinals top pick isn't even in the pool
Adam Ottavino P...I'm sure others are missing, too....so that's not really fair to teams whose picks aren't even in the pool.
edit: my top 3 picks aren't in the game at all
Whoops.
I meant the other option.

you're going to go through the entire draft results and add all the players missing? that seems like more work than just doing a draft of the current players in the game. How will you determine the talent ratings and intangibles of the missing players?

you can view the entire draft results there by each round...in the little box that says "other 2006 rounds" you click to see other rounds (duh)...I just mean because that page only shows the 1st round.
I went with the first option. That cuts out the time it would take to have a draft and the league can get going quicker that way.

My top 3 picks are not in the game right now:
Adam R. Ottavino RHP 30th 1st round
Chris R. Perez RHP 42nd Compensation pick
Thomas B. Furnish LHP 54th 2nd round
also
Gary L. Daley RHP 106th 3rd round
if you add them and they are comparable to where they were picked in real life, then I'd be fine with that...but if they suck or can't be added for whatever reason, then I say just draft what is already in the game
Whatever's best for the commish.
I only have one of my guys in the game, but if Jason Place and whatever was added, I'd be cool.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Doesn't matter either way for me, so you can count my vote for either side.
you can also go to each MLB team's official website and view "draft results" under the drop down menu for "roster" and compare that with the alphabetical player list to see if a certain player is in the game.
The Rangers top 2 draft picks are already in the game:
SP-Kasey Kiker and C-Chad Tracy.
I looked for the next 6 and none of them were in the game

Typically, the first one or two rounds are in the included draft file in the rosters and then its pretty much non-real players.

Rasmus is there, and he sucks.
Evarts and Johnson (our other 1st rounders) are not.
