I dunno about Laird, but DeRosa does need to be pimped.

If I do it for you, I have to do it for everyone. I don't want to go down that slippery slope.

Correction, he is having a career year. Look at his stats all season, not just this weeks.

General, Laird is batting in the .330's right now, and that's down from the .340's-.350's that he used to be batting. I would think that would warrant at least an 8 contact.

I'm fine with reds not changing them though. I don't seem to have a weakness at middle infield anyway. lol

Redsfan, did you look for an update to these rosters? With trades and such?

Oh, and Remlinger and Sosa are no longer with the Braves.
Sosa was traded after this roster set was created. I doubt people would want me to include the trade deadline deals in this set, but if you want me to, I will. As far as Remlinger, did he retire or did he get dealt?

meaning they're both playing above their talent levels this year...

Fairly sure he got DFAd and became a FA.

I think Laird is playing to his talent level. He has always been a well thought of prospect. He was hitting well over .300 in his rookie year before he got injured, and then was the backup the last year or 2. Now he is getting substantial playing time and showing his true talent.

I am going to say no to ratings edits. I really don't want to get into the complications and, to be honest, in-fighting that it would cause between GM's.

Just looking at the FA's, the draft eligible players were dumped in there AGAIN, so that will confuse things a bit.

I had a draft class dumped into FA once. I just had to go through and delete them all. I don't know if you want to go through all the trouble of deleting them but that would eliminate the problem of how to deal with FA's.

I don't think so...if you click next draft class there are actually players there...a lot of them

so, don't go deleting the FAs...I just spent an hour looking through it and writing down players I want, etc

You're right. When I changed the draft from Pre-season to June 1st, it dumped the original draft class into the FA pool, thus inflating the value of the FA pool. There is a whole new draft class now.
