Honestly, if it was all up to me, there would either be no draft or we'd do a complete auto draft. Since no league on here has actually gone with the complete auto draft, and hammer loves himself a distinction, ....ding...ding...ding.

Oh yeah, with a complete auto draft, fewer people will be satisfied, thus they'd have to work to get their roster to their liking.

No fantasy draft, especially autopicks and draft lists. We've already gone through that in Crazy's league. A fantasy draft does not exactly balance the power among teams either, as the OOTP pros such as Dave and Matty outwitted others at stocking up young players.

5-10 keeper. IMO, it's relatively redundant because the best leftover players would consist of No. 3 starters and second-tier prospects.

In the case of SBSL, they got lucky because Crazy never told us that development was on steroids. If we do a draft, I'll make sure redsfan posts somewhere what the development/decline integers are set at.

And those who voted for keepers, what other option would you guys prefer if you had to?

Maybe. It's a lot more interesting than just drafting who you want.

the major problem I see with auto-draft (from different leagues I've played on my game) is that the game doesn't take financials into consideration when making a pick...it will take the best/most expensive players...not everyone wants that...it'll fill out the teams evenly, but it also (unless we had lists lol) will just pick whatever it feels is best...I don't like that option at all...what if I want a SS with my 1st pick for example? He may not be the best guy left at the time, but be the best SS...it'll give me the other guy.

as I said, I prefer to keep the rosters...but if we do a draft, no auto for me, not a big fan of complete fantasy draft as that will take FOREVER, and keeper is kinda pointless as the talent will be watered down...spending all the time for lesser guys....but of those 3, I'd do keeper

I not a few keepers than auto-draft the rest, I would say stick with the team's original rosters.

I thought about a complete auto-draft but Prov's post persuaded me against it.

Obviously you weren't here when it happened, but my plan for the Strikes Back league (before Crazy ran it) was for a total blind draft in which the teams were auto drafted and everyone picked a team prior to seeing who went where. But that was before the re-start of the league due to a corrupted file.

I'd much rather just go with the original rosters than do an auto draft. It's going to be hard to agree on something, original rosters may be the best idea.

I agree with this. Drafts take way to long and then it gets confusing so why not just use the original rosters and then it will be fine.its taking too long to decide this
