My decision regarding "An Indecent Proposal"

Well guys, I have had a lot of input on the situation from you all. I appreciate it tremendously. I know that this league has lost a lot of interest from a lot of you. I can tell by the decreased attention to rosters and things like that. Some of you weren't able to deal with the new version of the game and decided to resign. I understand that and do not hold it against you.

Having said that, no matter how much input I have received, it still will come down to me making a conscious decision to try to save this league from certain death.

I have, therefore, decided on the following course of action:

We will return to OOTP 6.5. We will begin by choosing our franchises again. If you wish to keep your current team, you may do so. Once that is complete, we will hold a 20 round live fantasy draft in order to fill the majority of our active rosters. The rest of the draft will be done by either autodraft or lists submitted by the GM's.

I know that this is another restart, but I think it will help the league succeed in the long run.

I know I wasn't in this long and don't really know anything out 2006 or the problems you have had with it, but I would love going back to 6.5. 2006 was a lot more complicated for me to deal with than OOTP 6 was. I have never actually been involved in a fantasy draft before either so that should be fun.

I got dibs on the Rangers if their current GM doesn't care about keeping them.

You're in luck. Halofan's new roster set is up and I got it. These rosters are accurate up to 8/6.

We lost metspr due to another restart. Please be patient so we can make things right.

BTW, General, please do not run off Dam, we need good GM's if this thing is going to work.

I don't really see how he ran off Dam. He followed the rules as prescribed, called his team (an open one), and Dam doesn't want to play if he doesn't get his team who was taken.
