    quick OOTP question

so I originally had 6.0 with the 6.12 patch that would allow me to export to FTP just fine with OOTP 6.5. Well, today I decided to purchased the 6.5 expansion pack and downloaded the 6.51a patch, too. Now there are 2 OOTP programs on my computer (6.0 and 6.5). My question is, do I still need to keep OOTP 6.0 on my computer (because of the license?)? Space isn't really an issue, but if I don't need it at all anymore, then I just assume remove it.

I figure since OOTP 6.5 is an expansion pack, you gotta keep 6.0 on the computer. I'd keep it on anyway, just to be safe.

I know what you're saying and that's what I thought it would do (just convert 6.0 to 6.5 like the patch converted 6.0 to 6.12), but it didn't. It made a totally separate program for it...weird. Both programs take up the same amount of space, too.

No, you don't need to keep 6/6.12. 6.5 is a stand-alone program. All it needs to know is that you have a license for 6/6.12.

if I remove 6/6.12 will 6.5 still know that I have a license for it?

Is it a seperate license for both games? If it is, you would defaintly not have a problem.. if its the same license number, leave it on your computer just to be safe.
