Scratch Bedard, Zambrano is on the block instead. I would prefer only one large contract to the rotation and Peavy is my boy. Zambrano is 9-9-10, only 27 and has some of the best success in the league for a pitcher. Obviously the asking price is higher and I can afford to keep Zambrano at his asking price without question but if I can get the right combination of prospects and picks, he can go. He could be the ace you need for the playoff run.
