    Free Agency Information

    Free Agency is now open. You may begin sending offers immediately. The deadline for sending in offers for the first round is 5/18 (tommorrow) at 1:00pmEST. The first round will be 5 days, but I will sim 2 days tonight at 8:00pmEST so hopefully you can see how the players have responded to your offers.

    Schedule
    1st round 2 days will be simmed at about 10:00pmEST on 5/17 (tonight) and 3 days will be simmed on Thursday 5/18 at about 1:00pmEST

    2nd round 2 days will be simmed at about 9:00pm EST on Thursday 5/18 and 3 days will be simmed on Friday 5/19 at about 1:00pmEST

    3rd round 5 days will be simmed at about 9:00pm EST on Friday 5/19 and 5 days will be simmed at about 1:00pm on Saturday 5/20

    4th round 5 days will be simmed at about 9:00pm on Saturday 5/20 and 5 days will be simmed at about 12:00pm on Sunday 5/21

    Offers for the remaining Free Agents may be sent in as soon as free agency ends with the deadline being 8:00pm EST Sunday 5/21. However, offers will be made in a waivers style using the 2007 standings. For example... the team with the worst record sends in 5 offers. If the first player on their list signs with them... then I will go to the offers from the next team and keep going until we get through all the offers. Then I will go back through the teams as many times as it takes to get through all of the offers. This way the worst teams get priority, but they can't sign all of the remaining free agents without giving the other teams a chance to make offers.

    There are a few points that I want to clarify.

    Only 3 minor league contract offers can be made per round.
    All offers must include the position for each player
    All offers must be in this format
    (player) (amount per year) (number of years)

    I will need all the rules for FA, Im new in this league and I dont want to brake a rule since there isnt a rule section.
