    how do you mean? I see them as two completely styles of basketball.

    well, the 1980's are often referred to as the golden age. I and others think that we are returning to another golden age in the nba. thoughts?

    dwaye wade, amare stoudamire, lebron james, dwight howard. the 2005 HS class might be the best of all time. greg oden, kevin durant, brandan wright. the future.

    golden age? i dont think so. what brought about that golden age was not just magic and bird and MJ and Dominique and Patrick and Hakeem. It was the rivalry between the Lakers and the Celtics, Lakers/Rockets, the Celtics and the Pistons, Bulls and the Pistons, Bulls and Knicks.

    There arent any true rivalries right now that match those. Until those rivalries develop, there wont be a true renaiscence.
