Detroit's owner is a moron and gave Millen a huge extension before the season.

Is there that Orlando Pace type lineman ni this draft? I figure if they dont give up on Carr they will trade down for linemen. They could hold the pick hostage and force a team who needs a RB and/or QB(IE the Whiners, Cleveland, Jets (no Martin wont play forever), Tennessee, maybe Green Bay) and fleece them for a ton of picks. But there have been a few reports that they are "considering" taking Leinhart and dumping Carr (which they WILL REGRET dumping Carr).

D'brickashaw Ferguson is an absolute beast, and he is in this draft, so yes, there is that Pace-type lineman.

Tapp sucks defending the run, though, so I'm sure Ferguson killed him in that, even if Tapp got to the QB.

    Pff.

I just checked the gamecenter and stats for that.

Tapp only got to the QB once, and the running game didn't do bad at all.

    FAIL DO YOU GOOD SIR.

Ferguson's looked pretty mediocre the last few games.

3.8 yards per carry and prolly the bulk of their barely over 100 yards total rushing came when their asses were already handed to them. BIG WHOOP.

not bad at all I say!

Besides, Ferguson is still the most beastly OL since Mike Williams in 2002, even if his team sucks.

I predict the trend of re-tred coaches will continue and the Lions will hire Dom Capers (when he gets fired by the Texans after the season). That seems fitting enough. Then Millen will somehow jedi-mindtrick the Texans out of the #1 pick by trading Charles Rogers, a #1, and someone else of value to them. Then they will get Leinart. The only problem with that is the Texans are probably going to go hard after Reggie Bush with the #1.

How about this... Mooch as Texans coach next season

I wouldnt be surrprised if Caper got fired. Question who is Mooch? Is he a good coach?
