I was watching that game yesterday. Unreal. Dave Randorf's reaction (the pbp guy) was priceless. The guy's a soccer player though, so he had the leg.

He missed wide right from 20 yards for $1,000, missed wide right again from 30 yards for some video package, missed again wide right from 40 yards for a home theater system, but nailed the 50 yarder RIGHT DOWN THE MIDDLE. It was awesome.

It's $25,000 every year for 40 years, what a robbery.

    No, you couldn't.

(and CFL footballs are bigger than NFL footballs, let's not forget that. It's tougher to kick.)

I was never good at field goals/kick offs. Punting, fantastic, but the rest... as bad as Jose Cortez. Worse, probably.

Yeah, that makes the $1 million sound horrible.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

It's not taxable though, so I guess that's the only positive thing about it.

Congrats to him. 25 thousand in extra income for the next 40 yrs, that's surely going to make his life a little bit easier.
