    Didn't even realize until a few minutes ago that the Panthers already played. Beat the Islanders 3-1 (one was an empty net). Huselius got his first goal, which is a good sign for the offense. Rob has only allowed 3 goals over the first 4 games and we're 3-1. Not too shabby.

    Montreal Canadiens deserves a big thumbs up for going 3-0 on a road trip in 4 days (Wednesday to Saturday)

    It used to be so nice to watch Sportscenter and not have to see the hockey highlights from guys you have never heard of and couldn't pronounce their names for a million dollars. I am truly going to miss those days. What a great year it was.

    The NHL has handed Ottawa forward Martin Havlat a five-game suspension for kicking Boston's Hal Gill during Saturday night's game between the Senators and Bruins.

    Havlat was not penalized on the play, but the kick was duly noted by the NHL's hockey operations department and the league reviewed the kicking incident late Saturday evening.

    The Russian Rocket Alexander Ovechkin is on his way to edging Sid the Kid out for the Calder. It's too bad there are no similar amateur phenoms in S3SL.

    whats wrong with my Oilers in the last 6 games they went 0-5-1, last game lost 7-1 to Colorado, it was 8-0 by the end of the 2nd.

    I been hoping for 3 seasons now that Craig MacTavish would be fired, maybe this is the season its going to happen I can only hope
