Good win over the Thrashers last night, but we've got 2 against the Lightning this weekend, hopefully we can at least split. I'm excited about Horton, but I think we're going to have a lot of the same problems this year that we had 2 years ago. Atlanta got 34 shots on goal, as opposed to our 29. Thank god we have the best goalie in the league. There, I said it.

Luongo nets back to back shutouts, guy is just nasty. Cats haven't allowed a goal in 2 games, while 3 other teams have only allowed 2, but they've only played one game. New rules seem to be affecting pretty much everyone besides the Panthers and their opponents.

huge win for the Oilers tonight against Vancouver (4-3 in the Shootout), Torres was amazing from the 2nd to the end, 2 PP goals in the game, and a great goal in the shootout, nice going birthday boy and my boy Ales Hemsky with a great shot and goal in the shootout as well.

Ryan Smyth got injuried in the 1st and didn't play the rest of the game though , rumoured to be a sprained MCL
