Another big win for the Bungals against the bears. This has been a team that I never expected to do anything this year, but they have started 3-0 and don't look like they are going to slow down. Carson Palmer is looking flawless, and playing like a Heisman winner should. Chad Johnson is always good and that deffense not doing bad either. So what does everyone think of this team? Are they now the Bengals or still the loveable bungals?

Funny thing is I was going to post something similar. But opposite from you, I did expect Bengals to do something year. This was Palmer's year to shine, and with that great 2nd half from last year, I knew he do something good this year. With another yr under Lewis's system, I'd expect around 2 wins so far. 3-0. This team is looking good.

I thought the Bengals would be good, 9-7 or something along those lines..I didn't expect this. The offense is playing well like I expected, but the defense is great, which is why they're having this success.

I've been skeptical of Marvin Lewis at times, but I think some have forgotten that he was the Defensive Coordinator of that Championship Ravens D a few years ago. Why everyone is so stunned that he could mold at least a halfway decent D is beyond me.

Can one of our resident Cincy fans tell me how Odell & Pollack are lookin'

Odell looks incredible. He stops the ball carrier often with great, hard-hitting tackles and causes INT to be thrown by the opposing QBs. He also brings a fiery attitude to the 'D' which seems to help keep them focused throughout the game.

Pollack doesn't appear as far along, but some of that probably has to do with the change in position and the fact that he missed training camp. He has shown some signs of doing big things at times though, so I expect him to get better pretty much every week.

Didn't Geathers go to UGA too? He has looked as good if not better than he did last year. He's very solid.

Yeah, Geathers was a Dawg, but wasn't anywhere near the calibur of player Pollack or even Odell was in college.
