This is why you hold out..

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2159192

Javon Walker out for the season with an ACL injury.

He was holding out before the pre-season, because he felt that since he's a pro-bowl receiver he deserves to be paid more than 500,000/year. Instead, he ended his holdout prematurely because he realized it was hurting the team. Well, now his season is finished. He may never recover his speed, and he may never get to play with one of the best QB's of this generation.

I hope this teaches ballers a business lesson, especially in football. Get that money. There are no guarantees in this sport. Hold out, get your damn money next time.

    LOL, true. Good point.

But football players have short careers going by average, and since contracts are not guaranteed, I just believe that they should try to get their money while they can cause it might not be there later on.

Ah, well. Sucks for Packers fans.

As an anti-Packers guy, the only way I could love this more...would be if it was Favre...

Oh yes it is. At least Minnesota lost...gee, Daunte Culpepper sure looks great without Randy Moss, doesn't he?
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
