    The NBA Forums Official Opening

After some hard work, TheNBAForums.com is now open for business. So all you bball fans make sure to stop by and signup. With your help, hopefully we can help to add to their community of fans.

Obviously since the site is young, there are plans to continue to add and improve to the forum experience as the 2005 NBA season approaches.

Curious how you think it's cluttered. It's far less cluttered than the NFL Forums and/or Strike 3 (and that's not a rip on NFLF or S3F).

As for not many posters, that's definitely true. As the heads of our boards are far bigger football and baseball fans than any of them are basketball fans, it's been a back-burner-type project for a while. With the great data crash earlier this year, we lost nearly 5 months of data on the NBA site, something that will never happen again as the problem has been remedied for all 3 sites. The site is slowly growing and there is a nice corp group of young posters on the site now. Activity brings more activity. If you like basketball, you should give it another shot, especially as we get closer to training camp this fall.

Still not sure how it's 'cluttered' though.

I'm gonna recruit some people for your NBA forum, as long as you make the thing easier to navigate. If it were more developed like Strike3, it would be a more appealing site. If you need a Mod for the sonics, lemme know, I'll be happy to do it!

    It's off-season, nuttin happenin.

I was lookin forward to NBA Forums comin back, but it seems like we get more quality NBA talk from the S3F All Sports forum. Maybe we should just do away with TheNBAForums?

Are you serious? Besides DirtyKash and Kingdom, the posters here don't care about the NBA and keep saying that the NBA sucks. At least thenbaforums is a place to avoid the negativity.

Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

No, I just don't care for the NBA game. I like collage basketball, watch every Washington game.

The NBA business model is a joke, teams selling out the season and still losing money. Owners wanting renovations not for more seats, but more vendors they would own to create more revenue. Said renovations would be funded by the city... I want it out of seattle.

I will never understand people who prefer college basketball over the NBA.

The play is MUCH sloppier. The shooting is worse, defense is down, even less fundamentals than professionals. Not to mention all the dirty laundry that gets shoved under the rug, that is college recruiting. Ugh.

    <<< hates NCAA.

I would like for all these leagues to start up their own minor system to **** the NCAA over so they can stop exploiting these kids for all they're worth.
