Point to you, Porter.
Alright, y'all know the rules: 3 points for a good answer, 4 for a great answer, bonus points are flowing out. Stats impress me and please, no biting. That means you, Slyder.
Ten topics..one winner. Lets go Around the Horn.

First topic of the night...Charlie Weis and his Notre Dame mess. What type of expectations do you have for Weis at Notre Dame? Slyder, what say you?

Anytime a new coach comes in and has to change everything, like what Weis is going to have to do, then my expectations are low. Also you have to take into account that this will be Weis' first shot at being the head man anywhere.
Not to mention ND schedule.
They start off with a very tough Pitt team (whos biggest anchor might be hiring Dave Wannstadt).
Then they play AT the Big House.
At Washington two weeks later (where coach Willingham is back to the ground that brought him success at Stanford, not to mention he will want revenge on ND).
At Purdue the following week
Vs 2 time defending national champ USC, at least this ones at home.
#3 Tennessee at home.
Syracuse isnt on that caliber but they could give the ND some trouble with the athleticism at QB and new defensive minded coach.
Plus a lack of depth.
ND will be lucky to get 6 wins this year with all that going against them.

+++++ Looking at the schedule, Sly..an ATH trademark.
Around the Horn to Porter.

Charlie Weis will take over one of the worst scoring offenses in the nation from last season. I think while the defense will be average to solid. The offense wont be on the Pats level yet. Considering the Irish has this schedule:
@ Pitt, @ Mich, Mich St, @ UW, @ Purdue, USC, BYU, Tenn, Navy, Syracuse, @ Stanford
I think they will win 4 games this season, with this schedule. Sure they return all 11 starters on offense but they were horrible last season trying to score the ball. Add that with the brutal schedule I just mentioned, Irish fans will suffer.

Actually they return 10 starters. ++++ anyway.
Ghetto, what say you?
