    • Kerry Wood out for season
      Unbelievable...can this guy ever stay healthy? Just another case of a phenom who was a "cant-miss" and missed...I strongly doubt Kerry Wood ever returns to his 1998 form.
    • Cedric Benson finally ends holdout, so does John Abraham
      What the **** were these guys thinking? Benson, you're the 5th overall pick in the draft, you'll be the starter if you're in camp...oh, look, now you're going to be a Bears backup. Congratulations. And John Abraham, people are touting your team as a possible SB contender this year...but you want a long-term deal, so you won't get in camp. This after some great incidents like running into a pole in my town of Baldwin (2 blocks from my house, pretty crazy) and missing the last 4 games last year with an apparently minor injury. Kids, if you're looking for a role model...KEEP LOOKING.
    • Some russian chick upset at the US Open...apparently she won it last year
      Wait, you mean Maria Sharapova, Serena or Venus didn't win the US Open last year? Amazing...oh wait, I wouldn't care anyway. Roger Federer will win every set on his way to the men's title and one of the Williamses will win the women's side...and a collective yawn goes up from Flushing Meadows. NOBODY CARES ABOUT TENNIS ANYMORE
    • A's sweep Orioles
      I have no logical explanation for the fact that the Orioles were in first place by 9 games over the Yankees early in the season. This team is absolutely dead in the water. A pathetically played series all around for Baltimore...between BJ Surhoff dropping a fly ball, Oakland scoring 32 runs in the last 3 games, 5 runs in the 12th today...oh, and Sammy Sosa's still on the team. Does anyone doubt that Baltimore will sign Mike Piazza this offseason?

    Shenanigans was never supposed to be a big album...it's a collection of b-sides, covers, outtakes etc...American Idiot is their first studio album since Warning in 2000.
