LeBron James is already near Shaq and Kobe in most popularity contest, hence why you see the constant rumors with him going to NY or LA to be in a big market. This will do about as much as Viagra having Mark Martin in the commercial with the car... all show. Granted LeBron would make a ton of cash from this but for his popularity and NBA's popularity it will not affect it.

Although from what I understand, many NASCAR fans can be quite fanatic about the sport so it could help them realize that there is indeed other sports in the world. I don't really see this effecting LeBron or Martin to much of a degree though and neither the NBA or NASCAR for that matter. Nothing to see here folks.
